Neal Hallford

Neal Hallford is a game designer (Betrayal at Krondor, Dungeon Siege, Lords of Everquest), filmmaker (The Case of Evil), audio-drama producer ( Uncharted Regions), and author (Swords & Circuitry: A Designer's Guide To Computer Role-Playing Games) best known for his work in the computer gaming industry. His latest book, Heroes of Might & Magic: 30th Anniversary Retrospective, is about one of the most successful fantasy-strategy games of all time and will be released in November by Dark Horse and Ubisoft. When Neal's not writing or producing, he's a hobbyist composer and is currently scoring the sci-fi CRPG Planet's Edge: Fractured Frontier, a reboot of his first game originally published by New World Computing in 1992. Born and raised in Tulsa, Neal's a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, former editor of STAR OKC's Galactic Gazette, filmmaking associate of fellow STAR OKC alum Larry Nemecek (The Con of Wrath), and a full-time Okie-In-Exile in San Diego, CA.
