Collin Salmonowicz is a 3D-printing specialist and retired filmmaker local to Oklahoma City.
As a camera assistant on film sets, Collin spent six years learning the ins and outs of filmmaking, what really goes into making movies, and some of the common struggles on set that bring directors and producers to make the decisions they do.
Alongside this, his nine years of personal and professional 3D design and printing experience gave him opportunities to make stunning on-camera props, set pieces, wearable armor, functional assemblies in medium-and-high-stress applications, and as bucks, molds, and fixtures to aid other fabrication methods.
Now, as a machinist, Collin has shifted gears in his 3D printing career, focusing on sharing what he has learned with the world. Whether helping friends and family set up their own 3D printers or printing trinkets and tools for around the house (and the occasional cosplay piece), he is incredibly excited about what 3D printing can do, not only in the manufacturing space, but also in areas of pop culture, gaming, cosplay, and more!
