Chad Albee is an avid Star Wars enthusiast, 3D printer, and fabricator. He has had a mechanical interest since childhood, learning about cars from his grandfather and moving on to aircraft sheet metal in the Navy for 12 years, where he learned composites (fiberglass, plastic and carbon fiber). After the Navy and a few different professions, he got into 3D printing. He has printed costumes, props, droids, and even household and automotive parts. He feels we are always capable of learning something new or how to be more efficient. While in the military, Chad suffered a TBI, and feels that the challenges of 3D printing help keep his brain active.
