Lin Christie

Lin Christie’s first published work appeared in crayon on a sliding-glass door when she was five. The critics were not kind. Undeterred, she has been writing ever since. In recent years, her works have been published in more reputable sources, including several small-press anthologies. After 10 years of gestation and revision, Lin finally gave birth to her first novel in 2024. Shadow Life was published by Anatolian Press, and life has never been the same. Instead of acquiring a tyrannical editor, Lin feels she has joined a supportive, creative family. She is currently working on a sequel set in the same world. She lives in the wilds of Oklahoma with her Chinese Crested Powderpuff, Maggie the Writerdog. A retired teacher, Lin’s motto is “You can’t scare me. I taught high school.” Whether Maggie has a motto is unknown.
