C.C. Caldwell

C.C. Caldwell is an Oklahoma-based multimedia artist, designer, and entrepreneur with a BA in studio art and design, and minors in graphic design and Spanish from Oklahoma City University. Between studying and running an art business, C.C. has exhibited in shows in the Paseo Arts Association (2023), Soonercon (2024), DNA Galleries (2020), and the Leslie Powell Gallery (2021).
Caldwell's most recent work offers painted views from popular movies and iconic scenes beloved by many. These include Ghostbusters (1984), Hocus Pocus (1993), and the Indiana Jones films. She offers a glimpse into her artistic process: "Many of my past and current works merge my interests in medium exploration and overlap pop-culture interests with my fine-art education. I've merged crafts thought as 'lesser than' with 'fine art' techniques and mediums: Impressionist painting styles with the addition of comic-style highlights or linework to create scenes and props from my favorite movies." C.C. Caldwell is currently employed at Pinot's Palette Bricktown as an artist instructor, as well as a social-media manager and studio manager. Catch her in the studio reading books (audio books count!) and designing paintings for burgeoning creatives to master!
